The various movements and labels around body and fat acceptance are evolving. These terms and their associated movements have complex intersections with feminism, racism, and sexuality that are being debated around the web. Some object to “positivity” being co-opted by the wellness industry. For that reason and others, many are rejecting the idea of body positivity in lieu of other terms.
